Privacy Policy

Neon Pixel Studios is a small, independent studio in Australia. I build minimal, privacy-respecting apps and websites.

What Data I Collect

Website

  • Server logs: Cloudflare may process transient technical logs (e.g., IP addresses) to operate the service and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
  • Emails: If you email me, I will receive your address and message contents for the purpose of replying.

Apps

  • Learning Data: Your progress, reviews, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, this data may also sync via iCloud so it can be accessed on your other devices. This data is private to you and not accessible by Neon Pixel Studios.
  • In-App Purchases: Payments are processed securely by Apple. Neon Pixel Studios does not receive or store your payment details.
  • Crash Reports & Analytics: I may receive anonymous crash reports or usage data from Apple to help improve app performance. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Email subscriptions & updates

  • Email address: If you choose to join a mailing list or sign up for product updates (for example, from within an app welcome screen), your email address will be collected so I can send you occasional updates about Neon Pixel Studios apps.
  • Consent & unsubscribe: Email updates are sent on the basis of your explicit consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and you can opt out at any time.
  • Email service provider: Your email address is stored with a trusted email service provider solely for the purpose of sending and managing these updates (for example, handling delivery, unsubscribe requests, and list management).

Cookies & Analytics

This website does not set marketing cookies. If I add lightweight, privacy-focused analytics in the future, this page will be updated and the analytics will be anonymised and aggregated.

Sharing

I do not sell your data. I may use trusted processors to run infrastructure (e.g., Cloudflare, Apple iCloud) and to send email updates (e.g., an email service provider used to manage mailing lists and deliver messages), bound by their terms.

Your Choices

  • You can reset or delete your learning data at any time within the app.
  • You can also delete app data stored in iCloud via your Apple ID settings.
  • You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting me directly.
